Miss France 1998 expecting first child

SophiethalmannSophie Thalmann, Miss France 1998, is expecting her first baby, with French jockey Christophe Soumillion. She’s 4 months pregnant.

She is the author of the book, "Ca fait quoi d’etre Miss France?" which I think means "do you have what it takes to be Miss France?" or "what does it take to be Miss France?"

Actually, it means “how is it like to be a Miss”. In this book, she’s criticizing the year she spent as Miss France, all the things she was allowed/not allowed to do, all the rules she had to follow, the ‘bad’ image she had because Miss’es are considered ‘dumb’ and how uninteresting most of the stuff she had to do that year was. Very controversial book but it allowed the following Miss’es to have more freedom of speech and be able to decide more on what they really wanted to do to represent the country.

The title means “What does it mean to be Miss France?”
