Could Rebecca Romijn be pregnant?

CBB Reader emailed us inquiring about Rebecca Romijn (formerly -Stamos).

She was on Oprah (in a videotaped segment) and she seemed heavier than normal.  Her boobs looked big and when she was standing up, she was carrying strategically placed presents.  What have you heard?

I thought the reason for Rebecca and John’s divorce was because she didn’t want to start a family.  She is currently dating Crossing Jordan‘s yummy Jerry O’Connell.

I did see that yesturday and was wondering the same thing. I hope she isn’t only because I would feel so sorry for John Stamos. He seems like such a sweet person and would make a great Dad.

She does look much bigger than usual. I mentioned that to my mother who agreed. She has a lot of weight gain in her face too. That is where I noticed it the most.

I noticed she also looks bigger, a little bloated like she had gained a few, I don’t know if she is pregnant though. Maybe she just put on a few pounds. We will see….

She looks like she’s gained weight all over, she didn’t look pregnant to me at all. She’s definitely around 20 lbs heavier though. She’s made statements recently that said that she and John fought all the time, even in the beginning of their marriage, and that they were in couples therapy but it didn’t work. She said she got tired of John being angry all the time, he was always mad and never seemed happy or satisfied. Lots of people going through divorce gain or lose a good amount of weight. Maybe that’s why. Or maybe John really likes models, and pressured her to stay thin. And now that she’s really happy with Jerry, she’s secure enough to be who she really is. It was shocking to see, I really didn’t recognize her. She didn’t look bad, just really curvy. Who knows, she seems really happy with Jerry.

OH! I noticed it too!!! She did look really heavy and her boobs were huge! I can’t believe I am a regular here and never even thought she might be prego! Interested to find out more….

I think she is just very comfortable with Jerry and doesn’t feel the need to be stick thin anymore. Good for her!

No — I don’t think she is pregnant. However, she HAS gained @ least 15 lbs. I still think she looks great though — actually she looks a bit healthier.

I honestly think she could be pregnant. Considering she makes her living at being a model & an actress that usually plays sexy roles…I don’t think she could afford to put on weight, unless there was a reason behind it. And, I’m thinking pregnancy could be the biggest reason of all!!

Yep I comment to my mother about how heavy Rebecca looked. I think she gained weight due to depression over John.Her and Gerry only been dating 4 months.

They have actually been dating since last August…well, that was the first it was made public, and they could have kept it a secret for awhile before that. But, either way that is definately more than 4 months. According to both Rebecca & Jerry, they started dating not long after she & John seperated. I think they’re adorable together.

I don’t know if shes pregnate or not but I know that she has gained weight which could be because she is secure with Jerry and well has let herself lose and is having fun and because she has a man that she loves so much she doesn’t care if she packs on afew. Or it could be for a upcoming role????

I don’t think so. There have been other times in the past several months I’ve see pics of here speculating a pregnancy since she and Jerry O got together. I think she’s rounder than her swimsuit days and just looks a little poochy sometimes.

i agree with tanya sarah and maylena i think she has just gained weight.dere have ben numerous rumours like this since she got with jerry. im glad to see her so happy though after it ended so awkwardly with john stamos and just while im talking the oprah clips have called jerry’s house his bachelor pad. isnt it time for him to drop that label him and rebeca have been togther a while now right?

Her thyroid looks a bit swollen (look at the bottom of her neck). Thyroid problems can certainly cause weight gain.

I agree with Danielle,she has said she wasn’t ready for a family and John was, but things happen, things change, so who knows. She and Jerry have been together long enough technically. And like Sarah, I’d gladly comfort John if it’s true!

I thought the same thing when I saw her yesterday and it made me think back to when we were all wondering about Britney. Eventually the gifts weren’t hiding Rebecca’s belly though and it did look flat still even though she does look heavier in her face and arms etc… I don’t think she is pg though, just gained weight.

I think she’s just feeling more secure in herself as a person, in her independence since she was so young when she committed to John, maybe as she’s going into her 30′s which makes alot of women take stock, feel more empowered. I know she’s not “single”, but I get the feeling it’s more of an equals thing with Jerry, it was older man with bigger career when it started with John. And probably also shifting away from model and more into actress, plus I think right now the trend in general is to try to move away from stick thin and looks being everything, and more toward healthy, smart, confident. And she’s got the kind of figure that what show weight in the bust, often the first to grow/ first to go. I think she and John are both good people, but times change, interests drift, it wasn’t working anymore.

I personally don’t think she is pregnant – just gained some weight, probably due to the stress of the divorce. The several girlfriends I know who went through divorces either gained or lost about 20lbs. during the process. Just a stressful time. I hope she is happier now.

Maybe she has put on weight for an upcoming role. Renee Zellweger did it for her roles in Bridget Jones. Its not out of the ordinary for an actress to alter their appearance for a role. Anyway just a thought!

I saw that show and my first thought was has she gained weight. She still looks great but I couldn’t remember if she was always that muscular. Well I don’t think she is pregnant but you never know. She still is a beauty, and her and jerry were so cute.
