Elle and Flynn scoot to school
Supermodel-actress Elle Macpherson and son Flynn, 7, look like a pair of real straight scooters as they head to Flynn’s school in London on Wednesday. (Dad is Macpherson’s fiancé, Swiss financier Arpad Busson.)

This picture is really cute. However, I just crack up every time I read the words, “the father is Elle’s fiance, Arpad Busson, blah blah.” Fiance? Lady, if you have two kids by this guy, he’s been with you for almost 10 years, and he STILL hasn’t married you, he’s never going to!!
Just my opinion, of course, but the marriage thing is not looking good.

That is so adorable!!

Alison- maybe she doesn’t want to get married. Not all women– yes, even mothers– do. They seem happy to be engaged, so leave em alone.

Then why get engaged Sofia? If he was called a “boyfriend” your statement would certainly be valid. I totally agree with Allison, I also crack up when I see, “father is fiancee blah” and the kid is 45.

I wish kids wore outfits like that all the time. Little uniforms make me smile.

Gosh, her son is getting so tall. He looks so smart in his uniform.

Because calling a grown man your “boyfriend” is pretty ridiculous. “Fiance” sounds much better. It’s a way to say you’re in a committed relationship without depending on the government to validate it through marriage.

He’s such a honey pie! Not the most flattering pic of him but he sure is cute and it’s great to see him getting some of that hair back! I can’t believe how big he’s getting

Well, my now-husband and I were engaged for 6 months before we got pregnant with our twin boys, and they were almost 2 years old when we got married. Just never got around to it. And looking back now, I LOVED being engaged. I don’t know why it feels different being married, it just does! But I must say, I love having the same last name as my kids!
