Britney Spears hangs out with a pal in Arizona on April 27th. Spears is showing signs of pregnancy, with a belly bump, facial and chest acne. (In other photos from the set, they shot a closeup pic of her chest zits. Ew! What’s wrong with the photographers that they would shoot that?!)

I feel bad for her with all that chest and face acne…I thought a woman’s skin clears up during pregnancy…I never really had an acne problem (except around that time of the month)..NOW..I’m 5 months along, and haven’t had a break out in all that time. My gyno says it’s normal to have clear skin when pregnant..is this true..or is it different from woman to woman.

Brandi – as for acne and pregnant women…I’m pretty sure everyone is different – my skin has never looked worse! Nothing I do clears it up either…since about my 3rd month it has absolutely freaked out and I am broken out all over…my doctor said it’s normal though – and should clear up after the baby arrives….(which should have been 6 days ago….)

My skin was extremely clean and glowing all through pregnancy. I did not realize some woman break out during pregnancy.Brit’s acne is probably due to greasy food, too much sun and suntan lotion rather than pregnancy.

I think she looks happy and relaxed. As for the acne, every woman is different. I ate healthy during my prenancy and still had bad breakouts on my face, chest and back. Ugh…it did clear up after my daughter was born, thank goodness.

I have three friends who broke out terribly during pregnancy. It happens!! My skin glowed, thank God!!! I did get stretch marks though, very bad! I hope she doesn’t get stretch marks!

This pregnancy I had breakouts in my 1st trimester but since then my skin is positively glowing.

Am I the only one who thinks Britney is going to gain an obscene amount of weight in her pregnancy? I’m thinking at least 60 lbs if not more. It seems like she’s already put on 20 lbs or so.

This is going to be fun to watch.

I’m experiencing the worst skin of my life. I’m broken out and my cheeks are ruddy. Maybe it’s my body making up for wonderful skin my entire life.

On the upside, my hair and nails are growing like crazy. I think they grew an inch since I started reading all the comments on this post. Ha ha.

Anne, smaller women who are a low weight tend to look bigger quicker. My ex sister in law was a 5’2″ 105 pound tiny woman and was showing ALOT by 3 months. She had gained 10 pounds but looked like she had gained much more. Thats probably why Britney looks like that. Besides, we are all used to seeing a flat tummy on her.

I know, tink, I’m 5’1″, 97 lbs when not pregnant (and I usually gain about 30 lbs during my pregnancies).

I just feel like with her bad eating habits and her recent pictures that she looks like she’s gained quite a bit. I’m not sure how tall Britney is but she never struck me as the petite frame that say, Christina Aguilera is.

according to imdb.com she’s 5’4″, but I do agree with you, she does appear to be chunking out quickly and I’ve never thought of her as a small frame (as you used as an example like Christina) She’s always appeared thicker to me. (Just my opinion.)

we don’t know what she eats. just because she orders something from Wendy’s doesn’t mean she eats that every day. She may be eating salads and grilled dishes and vegetables. We just don’t know. When you are pregnant you do have to start showing sometime! I started showing at 4 months with both my pregnancies. She is what? 4 months or so?? whats the big deal??

Christina has a totally different body type than Britney anyway. I would MUCH rather be built like Britney than Christina. Christina does have a better voice, but Britney has the body! Its going to get bigger and she is going to have a beautiful baby belly soon! Right know is that awkward in between stage where you just look a little fat!

I am a licensed skin care specialist and I know skin very well and crazy things happen to your skin when your pregnant , especially if you are young. I am a young mother of two, one I had just 5 weeks ago and my skin broke out so bad during both pregnancies in the first trimester then it cleared up and I had star skin, it looked so good, then after I gave birth my skin broke out like crazy again. I am just glad I didnt have pictures of my bad skin taken for the whole world to see, too bad Britney.

I’m 5’8″ I’m 4 month’s pregnant and Britney has a bigger bump than I do. My friend is 4’11″ and she is also 4 months pregnant and she is about the same size as britney. It doesn’t always depend on the body size, some women just gain more weight than others during pregnancy. Hormones have alot to do with it to like if your skin breaks or not, it’s not the same pregnancy for every woman.

Just a question…How old is Britney and how far along is she? Im not asking this because i want to criticise her or anything its just ive found out about a Chinese Luna Calander discovered in a royal tomb from 700 years ago. Its meant to be 99% accurate so i wanted to see if would work for Britney.

The Chinese Lunar Calendar thing didn’t work for me. It said I was having a girl (even when I adjusted for my “lunar age”). Both came back girl. Took me a few minutes to recover when I saw the little “blip” on the ultrasound that meant “she” was a “he.” And there is nothing feminine about my little man!

Unless the chinese lunar calander can magically see the guy’s sperm, it doesn’t do anything. It is the man and his sperm that determine the child’s sex.

There’s this new magazine called Celebrity Living Weekly and there is an 8-page piece on Hollywood babies and it says Britney is due around Sept. 25. It also states that Demi and Ashton are expecting a baby in October (like Star magazine), (not maybe) but that they are.
