Whoops. Loretta Lynn reveals sex of Martina's baby to be

At the Country Music Awards last night, Loretta Lynn, while presenting with Martina McBride, let it slip that the baby Martina is having in June is another girl. Whoops. This brings Martina’s total to three daughters-and apparently, she had previously said that she and her husband wanted all girls, so this is good news for them!

It’s not reading too much into things. They had not previously announced the sex and Martina looked surprised when Loretta went into the joke. That’s all.

She said “Martina’s going to have a little girl and is going to name her after me.” Then Tracy, Martina’s fan club president, confirmed it. (According to the McFriends board.)

Thanks Sarah. Martina seems like a girl mommy to me, but I’m sure they would have been thrilled either way. I’m so happy for them, they tried for a long time to get pregnant with this little baby.
