Sherri Shepherd reveals baby details on Ellen

Sherri Shepherd was on The Ellen DeGeneres show today, and revealed that the baby she is carrying is a boy. He will be named Jeffrey Charles Jr. after his father. Sherri also openly discussed she and her husband’s use of in-vitro fertilization to conceive the baby. It’s nice to see a celebrity be open about using other methods of conception!

I saw her on Ellen too and she cracked me up!! I love her sense of humor. Ellen gave her a camera so she could document her pregnancy for the show.

I happened to watch “Less Than Perfect” the other night (I’m not a regular viewer, it must have been a repeat) and I could not believe how much weight she had lost! She looked fabulous. She must have lost the weight to have a healthier pregnancy. Kudos to Sherri, and I hope the baby inherits her sparkling personality.

Hello, My loss at missing the Ellen show today but my daughter had me in stiches repeating ver batem what Sherri’s skit was all about. Joanna jokenly said that she would love to have Sherri for coffee because they have a lot incommon. As a mom, I am of the view any fan would say that. But Joanna was on top of the world after watching the show and I just pretended along with her while she presented me with her own comedy routine by telephone. Thanks Sherri for making my daughter, a new mom herself, start her day off with a laugh. You are a special woman!
