British actress Tracy Shaw has a boy

Tracy Shaw, 31, and her partner, childhood sweetheart Ashley Poundall (a guy!)  have welcomed a son, Louis. He was born last week, weighing in at 8lbs, 6 oz.

I wish her the best. She has had a hard time over the past few years and I hope this will really change her life completely. Louis is a BIG baby considering she is so tiny.

Actually Ashley is really a boy’s name since you were surprised in the post up there. Remember ‘Gone With the Wind’ and who Scarlett was after? I am pretty sure Courtney was a boy’s name first. It’s interesting how both names have changed genders over the years.
I don’t know who Tracy is (maybe fill us Yanks in) but I wish her and Ashley lots of luck with Louis (another old-fashioned name). : )

Oh, I wasn’t surprised! Just the first comment I got after I posted this was IS SHE A LESBIAN!??! so I figured I’d clarify before there were more posts for me to delete.

And I have no idea who she is, sorry. I’m American. People were really pushing for this news to be posted, so maybe one of them can tell us…

Tracy Shaw is an actress who was on one of our most popular soap operas – Coronation Street. She has since left to do stage work etc but she seems to be one of those people who appear in the papers a lot for not very much. She has had a few bad relationships with other UK celebs and has battled anorexia so she always seems to have a ‘story’.

Ashley is Traceys mums boyfriends son so he is her sort of stepbrother!
Anyway they got together shortly after she divorced Robert Ashworth (a director I think).
She has previously been engaged to Darren Day who’s now engaged to Suzanne Shaw (they have a son corey mackenzie born 16th Decenber 2004)
