Kate Winslet says motherhood made her love work again

Kate Winslet learned an important lesson after giving birth to her two children- acting is a far simpler challenge than motherhood.  After experiencing endless days of catering to the every need of her children, Mia, 4, and Joe, 1, she’s always thrilled to enter a movie studio to undergo some welcome pampering herself.  The 29-year-old says,

"When you’re a mother of small children, work becomes a holiday. Someone does your hair! Someone does your make-up! It’s like a revelation.  I’ve fallen in love with my job all over again after having kids."

Kate is my idol – how brave of her to say the truth – that being the mother of small children can be draining. I hope there is no ridiculous backlash. The media loves to slam her because she takes no crap.

Oh, and I love the name Mia, too, but actually it’s getting pretty popular in the US. It was up to 35 on the SSA list for 2003, and I bet it’s even higher this year.
