David and Victoria Beckham are expecting a baby girl, according to Spanish newspaper La Razon.
Despite claiming they were due to have a third son, the Real Madrid ace and the former Spice Girl are said to be awaiting the arrival of a much-longed-for daughter, whom they will name Luna.
Last year, Victoria – who is due to give birth by Caesarean section later this month – said she wanted to call her unborn baby Luna, even though she said she was expecting another son. Victoria said at the time: "I love the word luna [Spanish for moon]. I know it’s a girl’s name- so maybe for the next baby."
Victoria – who already has sons Brooklyn, five, and two-year-old Romeo – recently talked about the joy of having another child. She said in an interview with Spanish magazine Gala: "We are very happy. I know it’s an obvious thing to say, but as long as the child is healthy, I don’t mind if it’s a boy or girl."
Victoria also vowed that the new baby will be born in Madrid – proving she has now settled in the Spanish capital, where David plays soccer. She added: "It will be very nice that the child is born here in Spain. He will have dual nationality – which means he will be available for the England and Spanish soccer teams!"
