When he wrote that “Tears of Heaven” song for his son, that was so tragic. That song so beautiful and so sad at the same time.

How lovely! Eric deserves all the happiness he can get; he’s had to face so much tragedy in his life.

Eric and Melia got married in the same church where Conor is buried, and their then-infant daughter Julie was baptized the same day along with his oldest daughter Ruth.

I am a huuuuuge fan of Eric’s dating back to his days with the Yardbirds(i am only 21, but I still love 1960′s music!), but here is an interesting story: His best friend, George Harrison(the Beatle) married a pretty model named Patti in 1966. Eric fell in love with her, and wrote ‘Layla’ for her. George cheated on her, so she left him and married Eric in 78′. However, Patti could never have children, and Eric cheated on her and conceived Ruth while he was still married to Patti.

Pretty awful huh? But I wish him and his wife all the best!

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
