Jennifer Lopez praying for pregnancy?

Popdirt (via InTouch magazine) reports that,

"In an effort to boost her pregnancy chances, Jennifer Lopez has created a shrine at her Long Island home featuring a 17-inch Our Lady of Guadalupe — a Mexican rendering of the Virgin Mary. "Praying to the saint was her mom’s idea," a family source explained. "A year ago, Jen would have said, ‘No way.’ She’s desperate and is praying for a miracle."

Interesting. Marc already has three kids with two different women. Do you think he’ll want to have more with someone else? Comments?

I’m sure he wants babies with Jennifer Lopez. He has been obsessed with her since he met her and to actually create a baby with her would make him very, very happy… Just my opinion, of course!

I don’t think that they’ll have a baby. I mean, Marc already has three kids, and they’re got together on the rebound. I just don’t see it happening.

I don’t buy this one. Jennifer and Marc are Puerto Rican, not Mexican, so I don’t think that they’d set up a shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe as opposed to a general representation of the Blessed Virgin. Besides, the patron saint of pregnancy is St. Margaret of Antioch, she’d be the one to petition for conception, last I checked.

shouldn’t they wait a bit longer before having a child? its a bit of a rush. kids aren’t toys & shouldn’t be used to ‘strengthen’ a relationship.

I can’t believe how fast Jennifer Lopez rushes into marriages! Also, not to sound disrespectful to people who DO remarry that much, but I am literally disgusted that Marc Anthony has 3 kids with 3 different women…That seems so completely unhealthy for those kids. I am all for single parents and gay parents and parents of all sorts, but I just think that has to be so completely unstable for those 3 kids to have to know a different woman as there stepmother every year. It just seems dangerous to me. What do you all think? That’s just me. I don’t think Jennifer should rush into having a baby. She should at least give this marriage like 3 years to develope before she does that. Also, her new album is coming out soon, so I would assume she would be planning a tour or some kind, so that seems odd that she wants to get pregnant now.

I beleived she married him to get pregnant, regardless of if the marriage would work or not. Having a baby would just be one more notch on her belt of success. Unfortunately for her, she has not gotten pregnant. Could be a slap on the wrist from the almighty? Who Knows…
