Dutch Princess Máxima is again expecting. The wife of prince Willem-Alexander hopes to give birth during the summer to a second child. The little brother or sister of her daughter Princess Amalia will be third in the line of the throne succession. For mother-in-law Queen Beatrix, the pregnancy of Princess Máxima, means, that next year she will again be a Grandmother twice in a short time. In April, Mabel, the wife of prince Friso, is expecting her her first child. These events come during the 25th anniversary of the Queen’s crowning. The Queen already has three grandchildren, Princess Amalia, Countess Eloise and Count Claus-Casimir, the son and daughter of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien.
Governments circles affirmed the pregnancy of Máxima last night. The pregnancy hasn’t reached the critical thirteen weeks and as in the first three months, the chances of a miscarriage are high, the Government Information Service has not yet confirmed this information.
