A girl for Laura Dern?

Dbarn posted a comment that Laura Dern has given birth. I’m trying to confirm this. In the meantime, here’s what she commented in the November 2004 post.

Laura Dern just became a mom for the second time. The actress had a baby girl with her partner, musician Ben Harper, on Nov. 28, her publicist confirmed to PAGE SIX. The tot’s name is being kept under wraps for now. Harper and Dern, whose new dramedy "Happy Endings," co-starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Lisa Kudrow, opens the Sundance Film Festival next month, already have a son, Ellery Walker, born in 2001. Dern may not officially be married to Harper. She said they were engaged in August but her publicist declined to clarify.

It has been confirmed on People.com that Laura Dern did have a baby girl. As of yet, no name has been released. Here is the information from People.com

Actress Laura Dern and her longtime partner, musician, Ben Harper, are the proud parents of a baby girl, the star’s rep tells PEOPLE.

Dern, 37, gave birth to the 6 lb. 2 oz. girl on Sunday in Los Angeles, her rep Cara Tripicchio says. The child’s name is not being released.

According to Tripicchio, the whole family is doing “great.”

“Both mom and baby are wonderful and healthy,” she says.

Dern, who most recently appeared in the drama We Don’t Live Here Anymore and Harper, 35, are not married. They also have a 3-year-old son, Ellery Walker.

Actress Laura Dern and musician Ben Harper are the parents of a baby girl, a publicist said.

The couple’s daughter was born on November 28 at Dern’s Los Angeles home, said her spokeswoman, Cara Tripicchio. A name was not released.

“Everyone’s healthy and happy,” Tripicchio said.

The couple also have a son, Ellery Walker, 3, who was born in 2001. Dern, 37, and Harper, 35, are engaged, Tripicchio said.

Dern’s film credits include Rambling Rose, Jurassic Park and Wild at Heart.
