Unlike previous reports which said that Indiana August Affleck was named after the place and month of his conception, now I’m hearing that it’s a tribute to Summer Phoenix’s late brother River, who played the young Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and was born in the month of August.
