Bob Geldof and Paula Yates’s daughter Peaches Honeyblossom has warned Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin that their newborn daughter Apple faces bullying and taunting for having such an unusual, fruity name.Peaches, 13, says, “At primary school I got teased a lot, just as Apple will. Fellow pupils used to shout, ‘Oi, Peaches, are you parents bananas?’”Peaches admits she is still taunted by comments such as “I’d like to take a bite out of that peach”, and “Look at those peaches”.She continues, “Why do the rich and famous give their children such ridiculous names? Mine has haunted me all my life and will continue to do so. I am named after a fruit. It doesn’t make sense at all. When I tell people my name, most laugh incredulously. I’m always asked to repeat it twice.”
