"I ain't no baddy, I am your baby's daddy!"

05/18/2004 at 04:14 PM ET

In celebration of the birth of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s new baby Apple, Coldplay has released a video for “The Nappies” on their web site. It’s basically Coldplay wearing punk rock wigs, with Chris rapping shirtless about Gwyneth’s pregnancy and how he’s going to be a good dad. Way 80′s synthy. Cute. Some choice lyrics include:Sometimes you’re happy,Sometimes you frown,With your hormones bouncing up and downSometimes you’re happy,Sometimes you’re sad,It’s a weird nine months that you have had. There’s shit gone down that you can’t disguiseYour boobs gone got 10 times their size,Your cup’s gone up from an A to D,That’s bad for you but fun for me.The chorus is:“I’ll be there with you baby through the thin and the thick,I’m going to clean up the poo and the sick.”and“Cos I ain’t no baddy, I ain’t no baddy, I ain’t no baddy, I am your baby’s daddy!”You can watch it here. Enjoy the intro by Beatles producer George Martin.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
